When is the show?
Sunday 24 June 2007 10am - 6pm.
Monday 25 June 2007 10am - 7pm.
Tuesday 26 June 2007 10am - 5pm.


How do I register to come to the show?
Entry to BuildNZ is free for pre-registered visitors so pre-register if you can. You will need to fill out the online visitor registration form or contact us at dmg world media for a form to fax or post back. This means no queues to wait in on the day and provided we have all your necessary details your badge will be automatically mailed to you no later than 2 weeks prior to the show. You can still pre-register up to 24 hours prior, and collect your badge at the information desk.

Do you need to register for both BUILDNZ and designEXNZ?
Registration for either show will allow unrestricted access to both exhibitions which are co-located at the ASB Showgrounds.

Will I receive my badge before the show?
All applicants who pre-register before the close off date will receive badges in the mail no later than 2 weeks before the show. If for some reason you do not receive your entry card in time, or if you are traveling to the show from out of Auckland and you depart before your badge arrives, do not despair, as we will have you on our database and can reprint you a new badge on the spot at the show.

Where do I register at the show?
The visitor registration area is in the main foyer. You can still attend by registering on the day – at a cost of $20 incl GST. At some times of the day there may be queues, so pre-register if you can!

What if I forget my badge?
Pre-registered visitors may obtain replacement badges at the registration desk without filling out another registration form. Be prepared to present personal identification so they can locate you on the database.

How much does it cost?
Entry if free for pre-registered visitors. If you come along and register at the show, it will cost $20 incl GST.

May I bring guests to the show?
Please do not bring clients, family or friends not employed by your business. Genuine trade buyers only will be admitted to the exhibition. Proof of trade identity may be requested in the form of a business card. - A WORD OF WARNING - If you are not an industry buyer and are found to be touting for business or sourcing competitor information from either exhibitors or visitors, you will be removed from the show.

Are children permitted in the exhibition halls?
Please note that children under the age of 16 will not be admitted to BUILDNZ or designEXNZ, or during show build up or breakdown. Infants in front packs and back packs are the only exception. This applies to children of exhibitors and buyers. In no case may they be admitted as a visitor or exhibitor. Pushchairs or prams will not be permitted.

Where can I get directions to ASB Showgrounds?
The ASB Showgrounds (formerly the Auckland Showgrounds) are situated at 217 Greenlane Road. Take either the Market Road or the Greenlane exit from the Auckland Southern Motorway. Map here »

Where can I park?
Visitor carparking is available at the showgrounds for $5. Overflow parking is at Alexandra Park adjacent to the showgrounds (at $6 per car). We have disabled parking available.
