Prefab home and abroad – A Kiwi Perspective

Prefabrication in New Zealand has come a long way in the last decade, but we still face significant opportunities to improve.

Richard will review where we’ve come from, what differences still exist when compared to overseas markets, and look at what approaches to the market exist for new entrants.

Speaker Bio

Richard is Head of Projects at Jacks. Jacks has 75 years of history in the timber industry, but for the last decade Richard has been focused on supporting early adopters in prefabrication, including supplying NZs first panelisation plants, the first digital fabrication facilities for glulam, and helping establish the first cross laminated timber plant in the southern hemisphere.
